"CME keyboards came along at time when I was struggling to find a weighted keyboard with a good feel, that had a few controllers and faders (but not too many) and that didn't look like a prop from the first Doctor Who series. Prior to that keyboards that I had used either felt good and looked good, but had no controllers, or were more studio oriented instruments with loads of controllers and screens. The CME UF8 has been excellent so far, with the added bonus of matching our band colours of red and black! On top of that the CME UF7 has been very useful for taking further afield to the US, Australia and Japan. Although not fully weighted, it still feels good and is half the weight, saving the band a lot of money in luggage fines."
